In order to install Hitman V8 you will need the following two files: Hitman V8.0, Common V1.1.

Documentation

All Hitman V8 documentation is in the Adobe public document format. The Adobe Acrobat reader is available from Adobe's web page, at www.adobe.com, free of charge for a number of hardware platforms and operating systems.

Special Distribution for sites with more than 2,000 processes

A special distribution that supports up to 5,000 processes on a single system can be downloaded. This kit should only be installed if Hitman is generating an error messages stating that MAXPROCESSCNT is greater than 2,000. The installation procedure is exactly the same as the regular version however the Hitman V8 for 5,000 processes distribution is required. The standard version of Common V1.1 is also required.

The final release of Hitman V8 was V8.0.6-1098. Customers running earlier copies of Hitman V8 may wish to download and apply the following patches: H806VAX.ZIP, H806AXP.ZIP.
