COMMON20.ZIP a library of routines used by all the products in the Cohort Suite. You do not install this product but it must be present for the Trace installation to work correctly.

TRC20U.PDF is the complete Trace Version 2 user manual and includes installation instructions. The manual is in the Adobe Acrobat Public Document Format; most browsers can read these files and free viewers for many platforms are available from www.adobe.com; no official .pdf viewer is available for OpenVMS, however, an .html version of this manual will be made available on this site as soon as it is completed.

A 30 day demo license is available for Trace or Cohort by contacting Saiga Systems directly. During the 2001-2002 holiday season a 30 day demo license has also been made available on-line. Current users should note that the license key used for previous version(s) of Trace or Cohort will need to be replaced by a current license which must be loaded before running Trace V2.0; your existing license will not work. Please contact us directly to obtain a license for this version if you don't already have one. However, this license will not interfere with existing license(s) if you plan to run a mixture of Cohort V2 and Cohort V3 modules.

Since this is the first official release of Trace there is only 1 release note. In OpenVMS V7.x Compaq introduced a Trace utility with TCP/IP. To prevent command line problems V2 of Trace uses the command verb OPTRACE instead of Trace.
